Paper Presentation On ADHOC Networks.
ABSTRACT: In this paper we have identified the challenges faced by most of the people in sending data secretly and securely through airborne network, which has now become a basic requirement. We are here going to generate a password which is unbreakable for the application through which the information is being transferred from ground station to the one who is controlling the entire activities of aircraft and vice versa. Airborne Internet has the potential to change the way aircraft receive and send data, or more appropriately, information. Airborne Internet consortium will provide an interconnected digital data network aircraft and from the ground. Airborne Internet has the potential to change how aircraft are monitored and tracked by the air traffic control system, how they exchange information with and about other aircraft. In this paper we going to discuss how to generate a living password which need not be remembered by any one for which an iris
code is generated from a given iris image and be utilized by the system to improve the security of the data and help in maintaining information being passed from ground station or from other aircraft to reach properly at its destination. Here in this paper we have discussed the strength of generating password through Iris and other passwords through other techniques. Also we have identified the unique patterns of the iris and the method of generating a 512 byte code is explained to improve the systems security. Here the identification of errors has been drastically reduced and the probability value for detection is 1/2 (512*8) .On seeing the probability value we could find that it’s very difficult to hack the password being generated.

Data broadcasting algorithm plays an important role as it instructs the server to disseminate large amount of data at a fast rate to many mobile clients. One of the work known as the Broadcast Disk method creates a sequence of slots containing data and broadcasts them in a circular manner on the air. Mobile clients keep listening to the air and catch those slots that interest them. However in the Broadcast Disk method, some slots are empty, which results to waste of resources and increase in clients’ average waiting time. Empty slots are randomly generated and difficult to be located. Here we present a scheme called the Optimum Broadcast Disk, which is an enhancement of the Broadcast Disk method to overcome the empty slots issue and hence reduce the users’ waiting time. We manage to locate these empty slots and fill them with popular data.

A Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communication Protocol for Cooperative Collision Warning
Abstract; This paper proposes a vehicle-to-vehicle communication protocol for cooperative collision warning. Emerging wireless technologies for vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle to-roadside (V2R) communications such as DSRC are promising to dramatically reduce the number of fatal roadway
accidents by providing early warnings. One major technical challenge addressed in this paper is to achieve low-latency in delivering emergency warnings in various road situations. Based on a careful analysis of application requirements, we design an effective protocol, comprising congestion control policies, service differentiation mechanisms and methods for emergency warning dissemination. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed protocol achieves low latency in delivering emergency warnings and efficient bandwidth usage in stressful road scenarios.

The feasibility of VANET was justified, the City Section Mobility Model was appended in NS2, the network model of VANET was established, the simulation scene was compiled, the performances of DSDV, DSR, two classical routing protocols of MANET, and a novel routing algorithm MUDOR, were simulated in VANET.

Abstract: Long Term Evolution (LTE) is the project name of a new high performance air interface for cellular mobile communication systems.It is the last step toward the 4th generation (4G) of radio technologies designed to increase the capacity and speed of mobile telephone networks. Where the current generation of mobile telecommunication networks are collectively known as 3G, LTE is marketed as 4G. LTE is a standard for wireless data communications technology and an evolution of the GSM/UMTS standards .
LTE, short for Long Term Evolution, is considered by many to be the obvious successor to the current generation of UMTS 3G technology, which is based upon WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA, and HSPA. LTE is not a replacement for UMTS in the way that UMTS was a replacement for GSM, but rather an update to the UMTS technology that will enable it to provide significantly faster data rates for both uploading and downloading. Verizon Wireless in the U.S., which is partly owned by Vodafone, has already said that it will support LTE as its 4G technology of choice, abandoning its current CDMA based network.

Abstract:This paper describes eSagu ("Sagu" means cultivation in Telugu language), an innovative asynchronous communications model of IT-based personalized agricultural extension system used in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is a blend of technology and old-fashioned face-to-face verbal communication in the language used by the clients who may be not highly literate. The system benefits clients, who are mostly farmers, by providing them access to advice from scientific experts. The communication channel in eSagu uses a local coordinator who communicates the details of the farm and crop condition to the agricultural experts using digital photos and textual farm data. After receiving the advice from the experts, the coordinator relays it back to the farmers in the vernacular language making the information comprehensible that then can be implemented. The client does not necessarily need to first recognize a problem, or even know that there could be a better solution or that even that a solution exists.

Abstract:In this original work of authors, a method is suggested for design and simulation of CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) transmitter and receiver using substitution cipher method for secure communication and multiple access ability. The PN sequence is generated using two flip flops satisfying their properties like run property, balance property and correlation property and the message signal is encrypted and decrypted at the transmitter and receiver side respectively using substitution cipher method. The hardware modelling is done using VHSIC (Very High Speed Integrated Circuit) Hardware Description Language (VHDL). Xilinx ISE software is used for simulation. This paper finds encouraging results with maximum combinational path delay of 10.464ns.

Abstract:ADSL technology is asymmetric. It allows more bandwidth downstream –from an NSP’s central office to customer site – than upstream from the subscriber to the central office. This asymmetry, companied with always-on access (which eliminates call setup), makes ADSL ideal for Internet/intranet surfing, video- on –demand, and remote LAN access. Uses of this application typically download much more information than they send.
ADSL transmits more than 6 Mbps to a subscriber, and as much as 640Kbps more in both directions. Such rate expands existing access capacity by a factor of 50 or more with out new cabling. ADSL can literally transform the existing public information network from one limited to voice, text, and low-resolution graphics to a powerful, ubiquitous system capable of bringing multimedia, including full motion video, to every home this century.

Abstract:This paper provides an introduction to Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) communications, which is a form of Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum communications. It elucidates the important role played by this technology in providing better access to many subscribers at a time in wireless communications. The technical aspects involved in synchronous CDMA and asynchronous CDMA are discussed briefly. The advantages and disadvantages of CDMA techniques over GSM, which is another major technique used in mobile communications. The paper also gives a briefing about the history of the CDMA along with the techniques used by CDMA, like soft hand-off. Finally, it outlines the major applications and the emerging trends in CDMA technology such as wideband CDMA and CDMA2000.

NTT DoCoMo is a subsidiary of NTT(Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation) specialized in mobile phone communications. The "i" of imode stands for internet, information, interaction and I, myself. On a i-mode phone you can access to the internet by just pushing the i-mode button on it (or the icon on the display) and you will see the i-mode menu prepared by NTT DoCoMo. The menu includes e-mail and various information providing sites, and you will be able to e-mail or exchange information by selecting those menu items. The information accessible through the i-mode menu is provided by the companies and banks (information providers) in association with NTT and those sites are called the "Official Sites." The official sites can operate fee based services where the fees are collected by NTT DoCoMo together with usual phone charges.

Abstract: A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a wireless network that uses multi-hop peer-to-peer routing instead of static network infrastructure to provide network connectivity. Ad-Hoc networks are mobile wireless networks that have no fixed fixed infrastructure. There are no fixed routers- instead each node acts as router and forwards traffic from other nodes. MANET is a type of ad-hoc network with rapidly changing topology. Since the nodes in a MANET are highly mobile, the topology changes frequently and the nodes are dynamically connected in an arbitrary manner. In order to facilitate communication with the network, a routing protocol is used to discover the routes between nodes. Efficient routing of packet is a primary MANET challenge. Today, there exist various routing protocols for this environment.
Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) consist of nodes that change position frequently. To accommodate the changing topology special routing algorithms are needed. For relatively small networks flat routing protocols may be sufficient. However, in larger networks either hierarchical or geographic routing protocols are needed. There is no single protocol that fits all networks perfectly. The protocols have to be chosen according to network characteristics, such as density, size and the mobility of the nodes.
